phpMyAdmin is an advanced tool which will allow you to manage MySQL databases. It's written in PHP and offers an easy-to-use web interface to: create, erase or change database cells, rows and whole tables. Less experienced users may employ the software tool to import or export a database with a couple of clicks in many different formats - PDF, SQL, CSV and XML, and this is the quickest and the easiest way to transfer a script-driven website from one website hosting company to another, as almost all of the data of this type of an Internet site is kept in a database, not in static files. More capable users can access quite a few advanced features including running MySQL statements or managing the privileges of database users. phpMyAdmin is amongst the most widely used MySQL management systems on the market.

phpMyAdmin in Hosting

We provide phpMyAdmin with all Linux hosting plans and you shall be able to access it via the MySQL Databases part of your Hepsia Control Panel. In case you are signed into your hosting account, you can click on the phpMyAdmin icon, that will be on the right-hand side of each database you've set up, and you will be signed in immediately. Additionally, you may also access a database directly by visiting our phpMyAdmin login page and inputting the corresponding details. You'll have the same level of access either way and you'll be able to complete all operations which the software tool supports, so you can easily import, export or change any of your databases. The direct link may be quite useful in case a third person, such as a web designer, requires access to a given database and you do not want to give them full access to the website hosting account.

phpMyAdmin in Semi-dedicated Servers

We provide phpMyAdmin with each semi-dedicated server account since our plans support MySQL-driven sites. The tool is incorporated inside our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel and if you'd like to edit any database, you simply need to go to the MySQL section and click on the phpMyAdmin icon for a particular database. You won't need any login credentials as you'll be signed in automatically. If you don't want to go through your CP or you would like to grant access to any database to another individual for some reason, you'll have an alternative option - to navigate to our phpMyAdmin direct login webpage in which our system shall require the database username and password. If you hire a web designer, for example, you can use this option to allow them to work on your website without granting them access to any files, email messages or any other databases in the account.
